All relatives of Kim Jong-Un's executed uncle ‘killed'

THE secretive State of North Korea has killed all direct relatives of the uncle of leader Kim Jong-un, who was executed last month for "attempting to overthrow the state", according to reports.

And it is understood the executions included child relatives of  uncle Jang Song-thaek, who was killed on Jong-un’s instructions, the South Korean news agency Yonhap reported, citing multiple sources.

"Extensive executions have been carried out for relatives of Jang Song-thaek," a source told Yonhap.

The relatives were recalled to the capital Pyongyang in December and were killed – they included Jang’ sister, her husband, the ambassador to Cuba and Malaysia as well as a nephew of Yang and his two sons.

In addition, the sons, daughters and grandchildren of Jang’s two brothers were also executed although it is unclear how there were killed.

"Some relatives were shot to death by pistol in front of other people if they resisted while being dragged out of their apartment homes," the news agency added.

Jang, (67), previously acted as an advisor to the young Mr Kim after the death of his father Jong-il.
